I was reading up on Homicide and OAPA just now when something got lodged in my head that called for a momentary distraction. Yes exams are kicking in soon.

If you have some free time, go type the words 'riot'/'police'/'protest'/'hindraf'/'perak'/'2girls1cup' on Youtube and check the results. Those are some freaking good entertainment if you need a little break from soft and dovey reality. I don't watch TV these days coz' nothing good is on. So try that change. Watch some of our very own men in uniform smacking their batons at retards who only know throwing allegations of 'police brutality'.

After watching some pretty good ass kicking, i've come to an assumption that the everyday average Malaysian is too sensitive. Check out the videos on the Cheras toll hike protest. If you've noticed, the person who posted the video loves highlighting the scenes where the protesters that were detained got some roughing up by the cops. And there you have it. A smack to the head, a little hair pulling, some chemical laced water, a little pushing with shields and all that tear gas . . . And you call that brutal. Gee open your eyes. If your peaceful protest doesn't get a permit by the police, any meeting is already an illegal assembly and you're committing civil disobidience. When it's illegal, it's unlawful. When it's unlawful, they get a permit to kick your ass coz' you're breaking the law.

Don't hate on the cops. They're doing what the person above them's telling them. Wouldn't any employee do so too ? Be angry at the people pulling the strings.

But i gotta respect what these people are protesting for. I can see a great cause for our future but these guys can do better than just walk on the streets wearing cheap t-shirts and soggy banners. Learn from our friends in Europe. Have a labour strike. Wouldn't there be more pressure on any government to adhere to demands especially if certain sectors are their lifelines ? Any smart government wouldn't listen to their people but then again . . they wouldn't be dumb enough not to adhere to pressure from corporations begging the governtment to give everyone free condoms so they'll go back to work.

Moral of the story is, you don't know what's police brutality til' you've seen Korean cops. Our boys in blue are more like kids playing in a playground compared to these violent kimchi eating muthafuckas. Plus, our so called protests here can't beat the tenacity and violent nature of our Korean counterparts in rioting/protesting. They're so good, i think they were born to rebel.

Enjoy.
